In 1920 Sbicca Shoes was launched by Frank and Earnesta Sbicca in Philadelphia, and they have been Handmade in California since 1943.In the early 70’s we were the first company to introduce “unit bottom” construction fashion junior footwear to the industry. Today we continue to produce unit bottom fashion junior footwear using the highest grade polyurethane formulation from BASF Corporation. There are many less expensive suppliers and formulations; however none of them have the density, flexibility and “finish ability” of “elastoplan from BASF.Today we are excited to launch our new Californians line of women’s fashion comfort footwear. Using the same high grade polyurethane, the unit bottom in this line will also have contoured metatarsal foam innersole and full leather linings and socks, available in whole and half sizes, medium and wide widths. These construction upgrades on our superior polyurethane units give the customer the ultimate value in comfort, fit and the California lifestyle fashion.
